Class Location

Classes are held in a comfortable classroom in YVR’s Main Terminal. On our first day, we will meet at the grand piano (at “Pre-Link.” See Map below) and escort you to our classroom from there.

How to reach YVR

By public transit:

You can reach YVR by taking the Canada Line (Skytrain). When you leave the train, exit the station from the left. Once inside the terminal, take the escalator or elevator down to Level 3. This takes you down to an open area with a grand piano across from you. On the first day, we will meet you at the piano and show you the way to our classroom.

By car:

If you decide to drive to the airport, YVR is located on Sea Island, south of Vancouver’s SW Marine Drive and northwest of downtown Richmond. There are three options for parking. See Map below.

The Terminal Parkade next to the airport is handiest, but it costs $14.75 per half hour, which can add up quickly (e.g., 4 hours = $100+).* If you park near the middle of the parkade, you can enter the airport from there. In the terminal, go to Level 3 and find the grand piano, which is at Pre-Link,” between Domestic Departures and International Departures. The piano is our meeting point.

Two more economical options are Jetset Parking and Value Longterm Parking. Both are a short distance from the terminal with free transportation between them and the terminal.

Jetset Parking will cost approximately $30.75 per class.* Parking here requires online registration. A free bus regularly connects this parking lot with the terminal. Tell the shuttle bus driver you want the Domestic terminal. Then walk from the drop-off point to your right until you come to the grand piano (just beyond Domestic Departures). The piano is our meeting point.

Value Longterm Parking will cost approximately $27.25 per class if you register online.* This parking lot is located next to Templeton Skytrain station. Once you’ve parked, cross over to the station’s Outbound side, and get a free ticket for “Sea Island Only.” On tapping your ticket to enter the platform, take the train to the airport, a 4-minute ride. Once in the airport station, exit from the left. Inside the terminal, take the escalator or elevator down to Level 3. At the bottom of the escalator, you’ll see a grand piano facing you on the other side of the hall. The piano is our meeting point.
